Trump made the comments during a cabinet meet-
ing at the White House on Tuesday.
“Today, we’re doing copper;” he said
after listing a
number of other tariffs the US has instituted. “

트럼프, 구리 수입에 50% 관세 부과 발표
미국 대통령 도널드 트럼프는 구리 수입에 대해 50%의 관세를 부과하겠다고 밝혔다.
트럼프 대통령은 화요일 백악관에서 열린 내각 회의 중 이같이 말하며,
“오늘은 구리를 말한다. 우리는 여러 품목에 대해 이미 관세를 부과했으며, 구리에 대해서는 50% 관세를 매길 것”이라고 말했다.
트럼프 행정부는 지난 2월, 미국의 구리 수입이 국가 안보에 미치는 영향을 검토하기 위해 무역확장법 232조(Section 232)에 따른 조사를 시작한 바 있다.
