Backin 2021, during the COVID
lockdowns when esports tournaments
were on hold,| started goingto alocal
gymin Pakistan; like many others,ljust
wanted to get fit; build alean physique.
Atrainerthere offered me what he
called “supplements” that would
help speed upthe process. Trusting
his advice,
paid around PKR 60,000
unaware that what
was given
contained banned substances.
Fast forward to the end of 2022, after
winning at IESF;
was tested and that’s
when
found outthe truth: what
was
taking were actually substances that
are bannedin sports competitions.
That was thefirst time
realized what
had taken.

The test was conducted underthe
regulations of ‘WADA’ and
was judged
according to Olympic level athlete
standards.
want to be clear, this was never
intentional | was misled, and
unfortunately like many others,
became avictim ofa gym culture
where substances like these are
sold casually with zero guidance or
education.
As soon as
understood what had
happened | stopped immediately
Since then,lvejoinedabetter gym,
taken full responsibility for my health;
and educated myself to ensure this
never happens again.
